GLOBAL ONLINE TALENT ASSESSMENT FOR KIDS (GOTAK) - ENGLISH
- A monthly assessment designed by Olympiadtester to benchmark your child's comprehension, vocabulary and grammar skills with her/his global peers without putting any pressure. Thousands of students across 13+ Countries participate in our assessments regularly.
- GOTAK is more of a self assessment tool rather than a contest. A unique and highly engaging structure will ensure that your child will have great fun during the process.
- The child will take the online assessment paper from the comforts of home within the window of 36 hours (10.00 a.m. August 8th to 10.00 p.m. August 9th). However, only 1 attempt is allowed within this period.
- GOTAK series includes assessments in Maths, Science, English, Reasoning and G.K
ELIGIBILITY
Any child from any country between Grade 1 to Grade 8 can register for this assessment.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
You need register here by making a token payment.
Registration fees
- till July 10th - Rs 80
- July 11th to July 20th - Rs 125
- After July 20th - Rs 200
New Users - We will share the login credentials to your online classroom within 24 hours of registration. Your child will take this and all future assessments from this classroom.
Existing users - Your login credentials remain the same. The assessment will appear in your classroom well before the due date.

Class 2 - Collocations, Spellings, Synonyms, Antonyms, Identify the word from the Picture, Words Related to Animals, Phrases, Idioms, Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adverbs, Adjectives, Articles, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Contractions, Word order, Punctuation, Simple tenses. Search for and retrieve information from various text types like stories, short dialogues, etc. Acquire broad understanding of and look for specific information in short texts like messages, invitations, etc.
Class 3 - Word Power : Homophones, Collocations, Spellings, Words related to animals, Household things, Clothes, Basic emotions, Food, Animals and Pets, etc. Synonyms and Antonyms, Gender, Number, Proverbs, Idioms, One Word, Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adverbs, Adjectives, Articles, Prepositions, Simple Tenses, Conjunctions and Punctuation, Basic Questions, Question tags, Jumbled words, etc. Search for and retrieve information from various text types like Stories, Anecdotes, etc. Understand information through pictures, Time-table format, etc., Acquire broad understanding of and look for specific information in short texts like messages, Invitations, etc.
Class 4 -Collocations, Spellings, Gender, Singular-Plural, One word Substitution, Synonyms, Antonyms, Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adverbs, Adjectives, Contractions, Articles, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Tenses, Punctuations and Jumbled words, Basic Questions, Question Tags, Proverbs, Idioms, etc. Search for and retrieve information from various text types like Stories, Anecdotes, etc., Understand information through pictures, Time-table format, etc., Acquire broad understanding of and look for specific information in short texts like messages, Invitations, etc.
Class 5 - Spellings, Collocations, Idioms, Homonyms and homophones, Synonyms, Antonyms, Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs and Phrasal Verbs, Adverbs, Adjectives, Articles, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Punctuation, Tenses, Active-Passive Voice and Reported Speech, etc. Search for and retrieve information from various text types like News headlines, Messages, Letters, etc., Understand information given in News reports, Time-tables, Messages, etc., Acquire broad understanding of and look for specific information in short texts like messages, menu card dialogues, etc.
Class 6 - Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adverbs, Adjectives, Articles, Conjunctions, Prepositions, Punctuation and Jumbled Words, Tenses, Voices, Narration, etc. Spellings, Collocations, Phrasal verbs, Idioms, Synonyms, Antonyms. Search for and retrieve information from various text types like News headlines, Brochures, Formal and Informal letters, Itinerary, etc., Acquire broad understanding of and look for specific information in Short narratives, Time-tables, News stories, Diary entry, Poster Making, Messages, etc.

You will have sample papers in your personal online classroom to give you a flavor of the actual assessment.
AFTER GOTAK
Global scoring pattern (overall and question wise), top 5 performers will be shared within 72 hours of GOTAK closing.

The purpose of GOTAK is to allow the parents to assess their child against her / his global peers without putting any pressure.

In the"announcements" section of your classroom. It will be shared within 72 hours of the deadline of taking the assessment.
What are the awards and rewards of GOTAK?

No, you will not be able to take it online. However, it would be made available as a PDF document in thee classroom at a later date which you can download.
