 The Quiz will be open to all tata Sky Subscribers ONLY on August 15th 2014 form 00.00hrs to 23.59hrs.- The Tata Sky Scholarship quiz will be available within the Active menu on your set top box.
- Press the Active button on your Tata Sky remote
- Select the first option- Tata Sky Scholarship to participate
- The quiz questions can be answered only by using the Tata Sky remote
- Your TV screen will carry detailed instructions on how to participate in the quiz.
- The quiz will be in English and will offer 50 multiple choice questions that need to be answered in a maximum of 30 minutes.
- The quiz questions will cover topics like History, Geography, Science, Logical, Reasoning, GK, Politics and Civics, English from infotainment channels as well as Tata Sky Active services like Active Fun Learn, Active, Vedic Maths and Active English.
- The Entire Quiz has to be taken in one sitting only. If you exit the quiz any given point in time, you will not be able to take the quiz form the same set top box again for the day.
- If you do not know the answer to a question, you may choose to skip a question and revisit it later at the end of the quiz.
- The scoring model for the quiz comprises +10 for each correct answer, -3 for each incorrect answer along with a combination of the total time taken to answer the quiz.
- The score will be displayed as an SMS code on screen, once the quiz has been completed.
- To qualify at the end of the quiz, the participant will need to submit the SMS code displayed on screen to 56633 in the prescribed format.
- The top 10 participants with maximum number of questions answered correctly in the minimum amount of time will be declared winners
- The quiz can be taken more than once per subscriber ID, only thr entry received first will be considered.
- If the participant completes answering all 50 questions within 30 minutes a screen will be displayed along with a SMS code. This code has to be sent to 56633 to submit the quiz results.
- If the participant still has not completed the quiz in 30 minutes, a timeup screen will be displayed and the participant still has an option of submitting the quiz results. If the participant chooses to submit a SMS code will be displayed which has to be sent to 56633.
- The Participant can exit the Quiz at any given point in time where by he will be given an option to submit the results do far. If the participant chooses to submit a SMS code will be displayed which has to be sent to 56633. However the participant will not be able to take the Quiz from the same SET TOP BOX again.
