About Painting competition on energy conservation  (Class 4 - 9)

Inviting Participation in school, State & National Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation-2014 . The Ministry of Power, Government of India, invites children to paint a world of imagination and discover the magic of clean, green & energy efficiant future; a future , which they will inherit. in this process, the children will not only learn a few good things but will also teach us a few new things. 

SCHOOL LEVEL PAINTING COMPETITION
  • School Principals are requested to organize Painting Competition of 2 hours duration for 4th, 5th& 6th standard students under Category ‘A’ and for 7th, 8th & 9th standard students under Category ‘B’. Students can use any size of paper, but preferably A4 size & painting material such as pencil, colour pencils, crayons & water colours. Students can select any one of the above mentioned themes marked for their category for painting.
  • School principals will select 2 best paintings from each Category A & B and send them along with the information on number of students participated in each category at school level painting competition to the Nodal Officer of the State/UT by 30th September 2014 positively.
  • The back of the painting should carry the following information: : -
  • Name of the student, Father’s/ Mother’s Name, Tel/Mobile No. of Parents, Standard, Roll No., Category, School name and postal Address, Govt. School in Rural area (Write Yes or No), School Tel. No., Signature of School Principal, State/ UT
  • All Participants will be issued certificate of participation.
STATE LEVEL PAINTING COMPETITION
  • 50 best paintings plus 5 reserves each for categories A & B will be selected by a committee of Experts/Jury.
  • Selected students from categories A & B will be called at designated place in state/UT for two hours on the spot Painting Competition to be help on 15th November 2014.
  • Each Participating student from Categories A & B will be paid Rs 1000 in cash and a participation certificate.
  • To & Fro sleeper class/AC Chair Car/3rd AC rail fare r State Roadways bus fare for the participating students & 2 guardians for Category A, but only one Guardian for Category B will also be reimbursed on the day of the competition.
  • Prizes shall be given away on the same day.
  • Competiton for category B will terminate at state level and first 3 painting of winners at state level will be evaluated for their selection of NAtional Level Prizes.
NATIONAL LEVEL PAINTING COMPETITION
  • 1st, 2nd & 3rd Prize winners of State level painting competition of the category A from each state/UT will be invited to Delhi to participate in National Level Painting Competition to be help on 12th December 2014.
  • Only paintings of 1st, 2nd & 3rd Prize winners of State level painting competition of the category B from each state/UT will be evaluated at Delhi by a Committee of experts/jury nominated for their selection for National level Prizes.
  • Boarding & lodging, to & fro sleeper class/AC Chair Car/3rd AC rail fare r State Roadways bus fareby the shortest route for 108 participants and 2 guardians of Category A & 12 winners of cAtegory B along with one Guardian will be reimbursed. In addition each participating student will be paid a sum of Rs 1000 as incidentals and given a participation certificate.
  • National Level Winners of both Categories A & B will be awarded cash prizes by the chief Guest on the National Energy Conservation Day Function to be help in Delhi 14th December 2014.

  • 1st prize: Rs 20,000    2nd Prize: Rs 15,000    3rd prize: Rs 10,000     Consolation prizes (10 nos) Rs 2,500 each. 
NATIONAL CATEGORY A
  • 1st prize: Rs 100,000    2nd Prize (4 Nos) Rs 50,000 each    3rd prize (8 Nos): Rs 25,000 each    Consolation prizes (10 nos) Rs 10,000 each. 
NATIONAL CATEGORY B
  • 1st prize: Rs 100,000    2nd Prize (2 Nos) Rs 50,000 each    3rd prize (3 Nos): Rs 25,000 each    Consolation prizes (6 nos) Rs 10,000 each.
